Kim is the daughter of famous boxer SONNY ADAMS better known as the BOURNTON BLIZZARD. Born in the northern town of BOURNTON, Kim was raised in the Mid East area of Cardyne but she never lost that northern spirit. Her father taught her strength, resilience and fair play for the BLIZZARD was nothing if not an ethical boxer.
Her father’s career was ended after a match up with SIMON PENN which led to disaster in the ring but rather than vengeance driving what she does she seeks to do what her father started and have the triplets against the ropes.
Her work is unique in the sense that she is out with the jurisdiction of the LAW MAKERS of the Shady City. This gives her a chance to see things from an outside perspective as our reporter, SAM, continues on his story.
Although she hasn’t appeared in KNOCK KNOCK yet she is set to make an impact in volume 2 because her agency have been building their case and their sights are set on the BOSS LADY of the club.
Complete season 1 of the Knock Knock graphic novel series is free to read HERE.
A beautiful, expansive piece of land set beyond the north of the city before reaching the northern town of BOURNTON. Leaving the hustle and bustle of Coldford behind the Harvester farm seems like a world away.
Owned by the HARVESTER family for a number of generations, the most recent being Jacob Harvester and his daughter and only child JULIA.
A meat and dairy farm the Harvester brand brings some of the finest produce to the Shady City and beyond. When Jacob fell ill his doctor, WINSLOW, bought over the farm in order to help out and to bring the brand into a modern world before it was lost completely to a day and age long past.
Hard work and dedication is given completely by the farm hands. They are all like family to Julia, especially GLENN and Curtis her two main hands who keep the farm functioning.
Whilst you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and become lost in the day dream inducing old fashioned architecture of the farm house, like most places in the Shady City there is a dark cloud hovering over the land and it’s not just bringing gloomy weather. Julia is losing control over her family legacy little by little to the domineering doctor.
When Julia meets an artist, DAVID FINN, he manages to see past her naïve, pretty farm girl exterior to a furious fire that burns beneath. The inspiration falls both ways as the daring artist gives her a new lease of life. Time to make some changes around Harvester farm and desperate times call for desperate measures.

Occupation: Manager Mack and Son’s whiskey distillery
One of five Mack children born to Brendan and Anne Mack. Paddy is the second eldest of his three brothers (Kieran, Aiden, Alfie) and his sister (Siobhan). He is seen as the most competent to lead the Distillery. He is the most level headed of the Macks but he isn’t without the skills and endurance it requires to run such a tough industry in the Shady City. The MACK DISTILLERY has been supplying the KNOCK KNOCK CLUB since it’s founding and as a result Paddy (AKA Patrick) has a steady working relationship with the Boss Lady TABITHA.
Paddy is a good looking, kind natured man but with the roguish charm one would expect from the Bellfield area. He and his brothers are the biggest supporters of football club BELLFIELD FC. The fans of the club had gotten such a terrible reputation after riots started at an away match it was up to Paddy to step in and shut the violence down so that the team that his distillery sponsored wasn’t removed from the league completely.
The explosions around the city linked to the HEADLINERS are rumoured to have been assisted and in fact provided by the Mack’s and their factory workers. Although, Paddy is attempting to bring them into a more peaceful era things in Shady City won’t improve unless he is willing to show a little strength through violence.
Paddy will be making his entrance in Volume 2 of the Knock Knock series.
Can’t wait? Volume 1 is free to read here on Vivika Widow Online. Also, available to download for Kindle by clicking HERE.
Since they were first built, the Shanties of Coldford City was home to the poorest people. Most of them worked low income jobs and even spending all the hours they could it was still difficult to make ends meet. Some gave up, turning to booze and drugs to fill their days instead, hoping it would help them forget they were stuck in a poverty trap.
As the north of the city thrived and the COLDFORD CITY football club came to be, a man named Roger Crane decided the people of the South should have their own team, a team they could cheer and support. No one in the Shanties could afford the fees it took to join the youth program of Coldford City so Coldford Athletic was established. Roger swore that it would always be open for the youth of the Shanties. The children there had idols to turn their attention to and aspire to be like. Idols they became. Coldford City and Coldford Athletic became fierce rivals. Despite their humble beginnings Athletic had one thing to boast that City never could – Golden Boot winner Samuel Connelly. City poured money into purchasing players from Luen and further but none could compete with Sam Connelly’s natural skill.
Shanties born and raised Sam showed the youth of the area that anything was possible, even with every social disadvantage weighing you down. Money couldn’t buy that golden boot – inter city football’s most prestigious prize – only hard work and perseverance could gain that, something the people of the Shanties have in abundance.
Our Shady City thriller’s most notable fan of Athletic is artist, DAVID FINN. Having grown up in the Clifton Alley part of the Shanties he has seen it at its worst.
Sometimes the escape of football comes a little too late. As David spirals down a pit of drugs and alcohol he loses the inspiration for his art. His latest Muse offers him the fresh vision he needs but first he must address a childhood trauma if he is to really feel the art.
In the Shady City it takes a brave cop to walk the streets. Shady City’s finest are as touch as the streets they protect. There are many confessions made within the walls of Coldford Police Department (CPD).
Such confessions include the kidnapping of a young girl named Marjorie (MAESTRO) or the murder of half the Filton University anatomy class (CONFESSIONS).
The brave men and women of CPD are always torn between what’s right and what needs to be done. Things can get sticky as the lines of morality are blurred.
When a reporter comes to them with one of the most incredible story they have ever heard it seems like it’s time to take the streets on force. The city is descending into chaos and it needs all the brave wearers of blue it can find. If those in uniform are willing to bend rules a little to get the job done, all the better.
They call her The Baroness and her activist spirit is legendary. To some she is the lovable KNOCK KNOCK show girl. To the LAWMAKERS she is the next target and rehab will not excuse her.
Coming May 02: Welcome Tawny McInney to Harbour House.

Glenn was a hard working man. No one could accuse him of being lazy. Providing for his family is of prime importance. His daughter, Susie, is all that matters but he also takes his comittments seriously and he committed himself to the Harvester farm back when Jacob Harvester was in control. He has worked the farm ever since he was a young man and has seen the old Harvester’s only child, Julia, grow up like an uncle. He saw the farm blossom. He watched it fail.
The old Harvester became sick and it fell to Julia to decide its future. Glenn – like the rest of the farm hands – was always treated like family but decisions on the Harvester legacy was out of his depth.
Still, as difficult as things became an overbearing investor changed the world around them. Glenn remained strong in his commitment. As long as Susie had everything she needed it didn’t matter what he had to do. Even when the investor began to push them towards new jobs, well out-with their duties, Glenn carried on. It wasn’t glamorous. It wasn’t easy. It probably wasn’t legal but pride and family were at stake.
Somewhere in the city resides a down on his luck artist whose path collides with Glenn’s as his search for inspiration brings him to the farm. As he sets his sights on Julia Harvester as his new MUSE it could be time for upheaval once again.
Harvester Farm is a vast land. When an artist runs out of places to run from a childhood trauma it will be his next stop. The full story is available to read HERE
